After we return to Brisbane, we will have only 1 week to achieve this as the engine is due to be returned to the Green Elvis HQ for Powercruise Tasmania, Sydney & Darwin duties. These duties included taking as many Powercruise supporters for a ride in the big green girl as possible so if your at a Powercruise event, make sure your in the right place at the right time when its cruise time and you could be lucky enough to go for a ride in a car that has an engine that makes enough power to run in the 7 second zone at over 290km/hr. The Green Powercruise HQ known as Elvis has had the engine removed and transplanted into the silver Powercruise Camaro you see before you. The 540 cube Chev is now operating with a water to air intercooler dropping inlet temps from 70 degrees to 18 degrees in early testing. Five passes have been completed with only two where there were 
no niggling problems. The first was a 7.83 @ 182mph and the second at Supernats being 8.09 @ 181mph. This was done with the same tune we had in it when the HQ went 9.06@162mph at the Winternats in Qld. This tune was tested with 1090rwhp. The HQ has made 1273hp at the rear wheels with 28psi and 25 degrees of total timing. Plenty left as you can imagine. When we get back to Brisbane further testing will resume with the hope of simply going quicker than great mate and fellow racer Tristan Ockers (MINCER) Capri 7.55@184mph.
