Powercruise is a media frenzy come event time. Everyone wants to come along and take photos for everyone from major publications to website blurbs down to selling images online to make a buck and amatuer photographers.
Media accreditation at Powercruise is by application only to experienced and professional media.
Powercruise Media is not for ‘first timers’. We have had too many inexperienced and unprofessional people putting themselves in dangerous positions taking unnecessary risks, such disrespect for our rules and safety of all has lead to this decision. If you think you should be considered for Media Accreditation at Powercruise you may email our office on firstname.lastname@example.org with information about yourself.
Media groups, organisations and individuals are still permitted to pay to enter the event as spectators or entrants and take pictures from the general spectator areas safely behind concrete walls or inside cars on track during the cruising sessions, and this wont hinder any quality of shot that you might have got from being two meters closer to the action.
Please be aware any professional filming must be approved by Powercruise Promotions, no personal drones are permitted at Powercruise without prior written permission from Powercruise Promotions. Any unauthorized drones will be confiscated until the event is over, so please leave it at home.
