I love taking the Carline Mufflers Powercruise event to Tassy. The people are great, the sponsors get into the event, the entrants keep building more cars and showing up with bigger better things, i can see the modified car scene going from strength to strength as there just isn't much else for them to get into, there are heaps of tough cars, everyone loves the event and lets us know it and the weather is mostly kind to us so there are more than enough reasons for us to keep coming back to Symmons Plains so the answer of course is yes we'll be back in 2011.

This years event went along great with no dramas on the track at all accept a few people getting their asses kicked by cars they they may have thought wouldn't pull the skin off a rice pudding. Their called sleepers guys and i had some fun with a few of them in fact one such commodore got away from me for a bit and i recon he thought he had me but the top end of the 540ci 106mm 1890hp chev in the old ELVIS HQ soon pulled the gap back and as i passed him i squeezed the pedal a bit more and smoked the tyres past his car which happend to be full of his mates.   All of course showing their appreciation with thumbs up all round.   This is what i see Powercruise being all about.   Having fun in your car with your mates and not doing it on our highways and i was also pleasently surprised and thankfull that as everyone left Saturday night i didnt see anyone doing the wrong thing as they entered the highway so thanks to everyone for making the 2010 Carline Mufflers Powercruise another raging success and hope to see ya all next year.    These links will be up soon.
