Perth Wrap Up

Thanks to everyone who made a gold coin donation when they signed up to be a passenger at Carline Mufflers Powercruise #20, all up $1898.75 was raised which has been donated to the Just 4 Kids Charity.

 Well yet another successful Carline Mufflers Powercruise at Barbagallo Raceway in Perth has been run and won. Entrant numbers were a little down from our inaugural event in 2008 but I spent a bit of time eliminating about 40 cars that didn’t cut the mustard so to speak so with that said we had a much better quality field of 550 cars which made for better vision on our DVD for all to see and entrants didn’t have to wait anywhere near as long to cruise race drift and skid the track over the weekend. The DVD is due out before Christmas at this stage so keep an eye on the DVD order form for that.

 The big news is that we are talking with Barbagallo Raceway management about changing the date of Powercruise in Perth 2010 to either a week or two earlier or later than having it on Bathurst weekend so we’ll let you know when the dates are confirmed. Thanks must also go out to our valued sponsors and supporters who’s invaluable assistance over the year to get the event happening smoothly is greatly appreciated and we look forward to working with everyone again in 2010.
